You'll never get people to figure this out.
Bjugstad and Rau are both 92's. I believe Bjugstad is only a couple months older than Rau.
EP two out of three.

215 points in 3 years against one of the toughest schedules any HS team has played. Double OT game winner to send his team to state. Triple OT game winner to get the state championship.

Congrats on a great HS career to Mr. Rau!

Mule, if you were at game, were they taking runs at him all night? If so,I would love to have been there to see the damage Kyle left in his wake. Word of warning to you USHL boys, if you're going to take a run at him, keep your head on a swivel, because Kyle will be coming back (again and again and again)

Per my earlier post, he's as tough a kid for his size as you'll meet up with on a hockey rink.

He was ejected from the game in the first period for throwing an elbow. I'm pretty sure he received a talkin' to after that one as he's supposed to score goals not goon around.

Unless there is a certain Duluth East sophomore defenseman to put him on his butt (again and again and again).

And he did come back again and again... and we saw how that game turned out.

The kid put up three points for Sioux Falls tonight, he's the real deal.

Curious as to what type of point totals he will put up next year as a freshman in the WCHA. Any predictions out there? Would 8 goals and 10 assists be considered realistict / disapointing / average?

8 goals and 10 assists just might lead the team!

Seriously, I think those numbers are realistic, although I certainly hope he does better. It's such a huge jump for anyone coming straight out of high school. Very few make a huge impact especially the first half of the season.

Here are a few "straight from HS" WCHA forwards' stats from their freshmen seasons...

Player Gm/G/A/Pts
Bjugstad 29/8/12/20
Pitlick 38/11/8/19
Hanowski 43/9/10/19
Budish 39/7/10/17
Jokinen 24/3/2/5
Gardiner 17/1/2/3

It will be interesting to see where he lands. I would think Bugstad and Haula will center the top two lines. Will Rau be the third line center, and will he get any PP time? Usually, freshman that score a lot of points, also get a lot of PP time!

18 pts may lead the team in deed...

But I do agree; around 20 pts is realistic for Rau's first year.

7 games in SF under his belt and he has 3 goals and 4 assists, +4 +/- rating. Donny is licking his chops.

Which of the three players do you think has had the greatest impact?

Rau 7 pts, 5 pts off PP, 1EN, 2 GWG & +3

Isackson 6 pts, 3 pts off PP, +6

Jacobson 6 pts, 1 pts off PP, 1 EN, 1 GWG & +3
