Everything looks good in the Iron Range area. At 4:05PM, 30 degrees, no precip. Forecast is for snow to begin after midnight sometime... Radar is clear right now as well.

Looks fine for the games in Ely, Virginia, Duluth, and Hermantown this evening.

Did they really cancel games up north. I didn't think it was going to snow up there this week.

Everything I'm reading on the NOAA sites says it won't be starting in earnest until later tonight. I'd be shocked if a single game was postponed.

Tomorrow (and certainly Thursday) is another question, however.

Hey, I'm excited! Our first storm of the year. TWC says we could get up to 17 inches in this area (Duluth & Range).

Lee
____________
Message Board arsonist since 2005

I sure hope not, JLS. They *think* this snow event will be over by mid-Thursday. Sounds like it's going to be an extended snow event with a fairly large total accumulation, but not one of those where you get an inch or two each hour dumped on. Then again, the '91 Megastorm started with a prediction of just 3-5".

They should have I-35 clear. That's all East needs to know

Lee
____________
Message Board arsonist since 2005

I bought a house on the Moorhead side. I just couldn't bear the thought of telling people I lived in North Dakota. Plus, the property taxes in Fargo are freakin' outrageous. Try 2.5x what you would pay in Moorhead.

Man, I am gonna miss being able to see Cloquet-East. That is one game that FSN should look at for a February add-on at the DECC.

Freakin' cake...they could start a season 0-8 and still think they rule the roost, oh wait, they did that last year

Majin
