Anybody know how many full scholarships each Division I hockey team is able to award each year?

18 total, and the coach can divide them up any way he chooses (full or partial, more to one class than another, etc.).

Example:

12 full rides with the other 6 being partials of 50% each. He would have 24 kids "on scholarship". They could be very lopsided in terms of how those 24 are divided between the freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors.

18 is the max that the NCAA allows. However, Ivy League schools don't give out athletic scholarships and Atlantic Conference members only have 12 scholarships each (it is a league rule that they limit themselves to 12).
