Why cant we talk about "Franke?" Doesn't deserve to be talked about?
not really.
If he doesn't deserve it then who does? No one in the metro area has a better track recored then Franke does. The kid has been ask to USNDP, played in the elite league for two years, and im sure he has been all conference his 4 years hes played. To also add he was in the section final 2 years in a row with not very good teams. Finally he has had above a .900 % every year he has played.

I agree Franke agree's to be All-Metro.

He probably will get it haha, but also need to consider Malvin, John Dugas, and Kyle Koop
As much of a homer I am for Blaine, I think Malvin has been too inconsistant this season, unless he plays another section final game like last year tomorrow night, but so far he hasn't performed like last year.

No way on Dugas. I don't even think he's in the top 2 goalies in his section. I'd take the Cates kid and the Larson kid on Roseville over him. As pure tenders they'd do at a minimum as good as him if on HM. Only saw him play vs. EP, Eagan, Tonka and at Burnsville - all tough games..but he was not a standout at all in any of them.

I don't think so, watch him play he dominates every aspect of the game. He is willing to block shots and be in good position in the D-zone. Way better at that aspect of the game than Kloos.

Besse is a great player, but shies away from contact a little too much. I'll take Gross from Maple Grove.

beese shys away from hits?????

whenever somebody tries to smoke him, he does the smoking of the other kid. Beese nearly never gets laid out, NEVER.

Guess you missed the Elite league season. Once you ramp up the competition things look a little different. If you are going to compare the two, Kloos/Besse, start out with the fact they play different positions. Defending as a wing is much easier than defending at center. I will agree Besse is solid on his skates and difficult to knock of the puck. I'll stand by my earlier opinion, he is not FAR better than any of the other top kids this year. He may or may not be the best but its certainly no slam dunk.

If you have seen besse play, I would be genuinely surprised.

since he was a squirt. All together I'm guessing I've seen him play 100 times. Great player.

Besse is an incredible hockey player, but he is not as good of a player as Kloos. He doesn't dominate and control the play as much as Kloos does.
