ST. LOUIS PARK VS. TOTINO

Post by IntheCrease34 » Thu Dec 22, 2005 10:50 pm

Heard this game was excited from a couple people. Seemed like a pretty big match-up for The North Suburban and also for the Section 5A standings....Anyone thoughts?? Who stood out and did what?

Swartout was the difference, he played phenomenal. Totino out skated SLP all night. Pretty good hockey game

TG - It appears that TGs goalie Reis (versus Draculic?) is getting the tougher games or is this simply coincidence based upon a rotation of every other game as Loahr appeared to do for the last 2 years? Furthermore, it appears that TG is having some minor difficulty putting the puck in the net early in the year? Any TG feedback welcome.

StLPark - It certainly appears that Swartout(?) played well, as he should, as I believe that he is a solid tender. How did Perderson look during this game?

Regards,
mnhockey39

TG

So far this year it doesn't seem that the TG goalies have played very well. Against SLP, TG from the looks of the stats, really out played SLP, but Swartout must have stood on his head, as for Ries from TG did not play that well. It should be interesting to see how the class A runner up team from the 04 - 05 season does this year. (Currently 3 - 4).

SLP

SLP didn't get outplayed whatsoever, TG played a dump and chase game and took alot of perimeter lower percentage shots hoping for rebounds which were directed away nicely by Swartout or cleared by the defensemen lead by Tyler Pederson and Mitch Carlson. Pederson played a excellent game and seemed to frustrate TG forwards all night not allowing them to carry the puck into the offensive zone. He scored the eventual game winner on a nice shot from the point and also assisted on Andy Sackrison's goal.

Nice North Suburban and Section 5A win for SLP.

Good luck in Hibbing guys!
