Wow. Congratulations to him. Already committed to one of the nation's top college hockey teams before his Junior year of high school. I was very sorry to see him leave Hill-Murray. He's going to be a great player. He had 19 goals last year as just a sophomore. He's fast, big and strong, very hard to move away from the front of the net and has that scoring touch. Playing for the NTDP will be very good for him. Also sorry he won't be wearing maroon & gold. We Gopher fans love to hate those nicknameless North Dakotans.
Edit - My bad he had 13 - but added 18 assists.

Sorry to see Voltin go -- it would have been fun to see him blossom at Hill-Murray, but that article makes the NTDP also look pretty darn inviting. Attaboy!
As for UND, being a former student and player who suffered a season in Grand Forks (second generation) I've long suggested changing the name to the Fighting Boredom.

Luke was sent home from Ann Arbor for breaking team substance abuse rules and curfew violations. He better get his act together or he won't be headed to North Dakota.
