Rosemount v. Jefferson 12/22

Post by hockeyguy05 » Sun Dec 18, 2005 2:18 pm

What do you think about this Jefferson Rosemount game this thursday??
Im kind of excited to see what will come out of this. This new Rosemount team is a very young solid team and you can call me crazy all you want but i really think an upset could happen for Rosemount . Because as it sounds Jefferson isnt performing to well lately but is still pulling off some key wins. Im going to be excited for this game. what do you all think?

Jefferson is playing well lately. They beat EP 5-2 and outplayed them and def controlled them. Jefferson beat Ev 2-1 in a all around good game for both teams. Rosemount's roster shows they have a lot of seniors, so how do you define young? I think jefferson 5 rosemount 2

I am takin' the Jags 5-1. Just from what I'm hearing - have not had the opportunity to see too many games.

I say the jags pull away right in the first period goin up 2-0, and then play with the lead for rest of the game and win it 4-1

I'll take Jefferson 3-1 final. Tough game for both teams though.

also Rosemount has been playing without its captain Andrew Fairbanks who is a solid power forward. And as i've been told Jt brown didnt play against Lakeville south for some reason? but with these two back in the lineup i think it will be very close. Also every team in the lake this year is up and down. Rosemount ties North and then North beats the Jags and then Loses to Kennedy..It all depends on how you show up and play. If Rosemount really shows up and Plays i think they could pull it off

Im takin Rosemount 3-2

Rosemount also beat Eastview 5-2 last weekend so i think if they come out and play there game Rosemount should do some damage.

I'm takin Rosemount 4-2.

I think if Rosemount's goalie comes to play and keeps playing like he has been then Rosemount can pull it off

Is LaBombard supposed to play?

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... cuda701 at: 12/19/05 3:12 am

Jeff v Rosemount

Post by MediaGuide » Mon Dec 19, 2005 8:22 am

LaBombard is a mystery at this point, I'm sure the last thing they want to do is bring him back too early. He apparently suffered a high ankle sprain v Chaska on 12/8 which is less that 2 weeks ago, so I can't see how the odds that he'd be back Thurday eve are too good.

The Rosemount game is in Jefferson's court. If they play together like they did v EP, Rosemount will be beaten soundly. If they play like they did v Eastview, it'll be anybody's game.

The way they are playing right now and the way Bloomington hasnt been putting the puck away like they are known for...i think were all in for a show! What do you all think??

Correct me if im wrong but i dont think Rosemount has EVER beaten Bloomington? im probably wrong but for as long as i've been following the teams in the Lake i think they havent.

With Jefferson Struggling on the ice thus far this year, i dont think they will be able to beat rosemount, who is looking very good in the early half of the season. I think that Jefferson will be the next team to fall to Rosemount this year and i am gonna have to go...

Rosemount 3
Jefferson 2

Jefferson has had some trouble this season, however have done well in some games, but barely got past chaska, lost to Lakeville north, and my boys in blue at EV almost got them last weekend...so i am gonna go with the upset as many on the board are guessing as well...Also i am a little bias towards Bloomington Jefferson as i am sick of seeing them win all the time...This one would strike them in a big way...

Struggling this year...a win is a win my friend and if I recall the did beat a pretty good EP team 5-2 just recently hmmm...There record is 6-1 not too shabby if you ask me. I have to disagree with you. My prediction is the Jags 5-2 over the Irish!

I will say 4-1 Jefferson, with an empty netter.
-------------------

Catholics have churches, fat people have Wisconsin, and I have the Pawtucket Patriot brewery.- Peter Griffin

Jefferson outplays Rosemount in this one and makes Rosemount upset pickers look ridiculous. Austin Lee pitches a shutout.

Jags-5
Rosemount-0

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... hwang2u at: 12/22/05 6:14 am

Jefferson should beat Rosemount... I like Josh Levines game, anyone have an analysis of his play so far this season...

Levine

Levine is a strong skater with a lighnting quick release. He can also move the puck well. He is a strong player physically, but needs to take the body a little more. He has played very well so far. I look for him to have a very good rest of the season.
-------------------

Catholics have churches, fat people have Wisconsin, and I have the Pawtucket Patriot brewery.- Peter Griffin

Jefferson won 5-3. it was 5-1 after two. Should have been a wider margin but Jefferson played a terrible third period.

Goals for Jefferson: Levine(2), Dupont, Shupe, adn Schofield

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... 7>hoc27 at: 12/22/05 10:43 pm

Final

Post by hockeyislife06 » Thu Dec 22, 2005 11:28 pm

A pretty decent game played by both teams.

In the first period... it is safe to say that Jefferson dominated. Junior Josh Levine scored the 2 goals in that period, while Rosemount still had 0.

2nd period: Goals for Jefferson by Scott Schofield, Ben Dupont and Bryan Shupe. Rosemount also got 1 goal, but my memory is foggy as to who got that one. Jefferson dominated this period as well.

3rd period: Jefferson skaters were looking weak, losing many face-offs and allowing 2 goals by the Irish. I think it is safe to say that Rosemount was by far the better team in this period.

Overall the game was very fun to watch. Not too many penalties, but the JV game took care of penalties for both teams. As I recall, there were 6 penalties over the course of 2 or 3 minutes.. but please correct me if I'm wrong.

However, I do believe that a specific Rosemount fan was having a hard time handling the loss, but I don't want to be the bad talker on this forum. If anyone would like to know.. you can message me or ask someone else who was there.

Jefferson was looking pretty strong tonight and should be great to watch in the Schwan Cup this holiday break. Labombard also was warming up with the team so it may be safe to say that he will be skating with the Jags when they play Centennial on Tuesday. The Jags have been playing pretty well without him, but it always hurts the team to lose a key player for a few games. It'll be good to have him back.

If they play like they did the first 2 periods, they could win the Schwans cup. If they play like they did in the 3rd, they may struggle.
-------------------

Catholics have churches, fat people have Wisconsin, and I have the Pawtucket Patriot brewery.- Peter Griffin
Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... oren808 at: 12/23/05 1:03 am
