Lucia Model Camp

So anyone that has attended, does camp meet claim on Lucia's website?

"This year the camp will be entering its 26th year of operation. The goal of this camp is to provide exposure to junior, college and NHL scouts. Every team is coached by an active NCAA college coach and every NHL Team and central scouting will be in attendance. Numerous players have gone on to play college hockey and play in the NHL."

Statement "Every NHL team" would appear to be a stretch...

It was a required scouting event for NHL scouts and NHL central scouting. Not sure if it is anymore.

I don't think they have changed most of the pages on that website in years (other than the basic stuff like rosters).

So Bandy are saying it is okay to make false statements to recruit players for camp? Confused why anyone would think this is alright. I still believe in old fashion values of honesty, intergrity and respect.

By the way was at Ridder today for two games and did not see a single scout. Guess all 30 NHL teams were in attendance on Monday.

Oh yeah, of course expect all kids that attend camp to make NHL.... lol

I suspect the camp was better scouted earlier in the week when there weren't competing USHL camps going on as those are naturally going to get scouted by the same scouts.
