I doublechecked the stats from the Missota last year and Shakopee was actually second to Red Wing, RW scored a goal. In the two game series it went:
AHA 17 PL 2
AHA 12 Hutch 0 (only played once)
AHA 11 Red Wing 1
AHA 11 Shakopee 0
AHA 21 Farmington 3
AHA 20 Northfield 3
AHA 15 NP 1
But, Shakopee only lost 3 - 0 in one of the games, so it is true they held AHA the best in the Missota. I am not writing Shakopee out of the equation, but if they continue to play as they have been when AHA comes to tow it might be a fun game..... Good luck the rest of the way.
________________________________
Academy of Holy Angels
2005 GIRLS STATE CHAMPS!
2002 & 2005 BOYS STATE CHAMPS!!
GO STARS!!

Farmington beat shakopee the 1st game last year. then lost to shakopee the 2nd game. this was due to a big part of there goalie that was a senior last year. he was hurt the first part of the season. there goalie i think his first name was ole, came back and he was a big reason they went to state last year. he was very good.

Whoops, sorry hot shot, I misunderstood what you typed. Who knows, I think the team would be a whole lot different if Ole was back. I know this year the boys know, especially the defenseman, that they've gotta take care of Robb. Sure, he's not as hot as Ole was in net, but Kaufenberg's getting himself up there. He's got 2 years and the rest of this season to go. He's the best goalie Shakopee has at the moment. If he gets hurt, they have Hames, he hasn't played since mites, and he's no where near Robb's skill level. You have to give Kaufenberg credit for doing well thus far considering the boys are 9-0-1.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... OLE was back the 2nd game. I think you lost some games when he was out and when he came back you hit a hot streak to the state. Just think if you had ole with the scoring power you have now.

Kaufenberg benefitted from the experience last year when Ole was hurt. He looked good in the game against us.

Are you serious, they don't have any other goalies in Shakopee other than a kid who hasn't played since mites????

ouch...

I'd send Kaufenberg to school with a police caravan and an armed escort......

Well they've got another goalie.. almost just as good as Kaufenberg, but for some reason he hasn't been playing. School related issue maybe?

The kid is ben menden and he has had some issues with the school, and the coaches, he has a horrible attitude which he has had since he was younger. He wont see varsity time this year, instead the newbie should actually play a a little.
