They lost a couple of their big defensemen from past years', as well as one of their little forwards. They shouldn't lose anymore players to high school. They will still be good, just not as good as in past years.

With this new rule on 5 min majors, I think it would be great if when people post scores they also post how many 5 min pen. happened in the game. No need to name names and I don't even really care if you say which team.

I think this new rule is going to be a disaster. With the refs calling a 5 min penalty every game there will be kids missing all sorts of games and head coaches missing all sorts of games as well.

Come playoffs when all teams and players are at their highest totals and the intensity level is at the highest are we going to be having a championship game with no head coaches? Missing kids? because the refs are calling 5 min penalties every single game.

I was at the D3 meeting last night and heard them talk about the rule, the speaker said "we don't have enough info form last year" (so this is why they are doing it again this year) great so then why the heck are you now putting in another rule with all sorts of suspensions and you don't have enough information from last year.

All I have to say is way to go MN hockey and District Directors, you really gave this some thought. Maybe you should go have another Beer before you come up with these policies.
