Gordie's First Game at the Helm of the Elks

Please Share your observations:
Less Dump & Chase
Less Checking
Played 3 Lines - 4th line got ice too
Played 6 Def. Most of the game
Elks seem to have plenty of skill to run the new puck control style
Elks likely have some roster tinkering to do yet
Elks were stronger than Trojans - Did not put away scoring chances!
Good Start for Gordie - Certainly should have won this game.

Totally agree! In fact reading other posts, a lot of that coming from 7AA backers. Lots of excuses, makes me wonder why they even play the games?

from what i saw at the game the elks might have some of the same problems as they did last year, only a couple of guys who can put the puck in the net. good defense, good goaltending, not much lighting the lamp.
