If The Season Ended Today.. -Section/State Predictions

Post by allstatebenders »

If sections ended today, who do you think comes out on top, and also who goes on to win the ship?

I know playing what if and predicting games are meaningless but it's fun to see everyone's opinion on who's coming out of their sections.

They are seeding the top 5 this year, with 4 playing 5 and the rest are random draw.

Not sure how you are predicting matchups when 3 of them will be by random draw.

AA

1aa Lakeville South
2aa Edina
3aa Prior Lake
4aa HM
5aa Blaine
6aa BSM
7aa GR
8aa Moorhead

BSM in a blowout over GR in a rematch of Hockey Day MN!

A

1a Who cares
2a Breck
3a some team thats going to be pounded in both games
4a STA
5a doesn't matter
6a Hermantown will make it as usual only to get beat by the private school all-stars once again
7a some team that only has a chance if they play the 3a team all three games
8a Some team that will have a long drive home without more than one win.

99.9% chance that either STA or Breck wins....because that's what always happens! I'll go with STA winning by 3 or more goals in every game they play. Good riddance and good luck to you uniform wearing/shinny shoed, matching chickless Cadets. If Breck had any b#lls or dignity they would bring their poorly coached, lexus/mercedes/range rover driving traveling all-star team to AA as well!

I hate to break it to all of you, but GR won't make it to the finals... I don't understand why everyone is predicting that!

How about the MSHSL steps-up and lets Pete Waggoner live stream the seeding announcements and "random draw" showing who seeds 1-3 will play? Take the mystery out of the 1 vs 8, 2 vs 7 and 3 vs 6 match-ups. Hell have a pay per view event and sell tix for admission w/ popcorn to make the tournament a bigger cash cow for the MSHSL. Of course last years seeded teams crashed and burned but you're still better off being a 1-3 seed IMO.

I LOVE this idea. It will never happen, for obvious reasons, but it would be great if it were to occur.

Lee,
Can you give an IQ test prior to allowing some people to post.

'allstate - not' it is just a prediction by some kid cheering for his high school.
