I was thinking the same thing. Nothing against the 03 Orange, very nice team, beat us twice, but 03 Blades are a powerhouse. Word on the street is at minimum majority of brick team stays intact.

For argument's sake, the 03 Brick team loses:

JB to Florida (with no certain return)
ChL to Legacy (with no certain return)
CrL to Legacy (with no certain return)
DF to Northern Wings

That is like 80% of their scoring from the Brick. The edition of our Rankings reflect the above, not the Brick team.

The Orange is the best 03 team until we see what the Blades trot out as a team next year. The Brick team is the second best outfit MN has sent up to Edmonton in 10 years (the '97s finished second)...but that is not what we believe is the '03 Blades now or next year.

No offense meant to the Blades at all...still easily the second best team and possibly the best team in MN.

Interesting, how reliable is the information on additions to Legacy???? Opposite of what I have heard.

Confirmed not true directly with the family....

ChL and CrL are staying with the Blades. While they may skate with Legacy as schedule permits (as in years past) but they are staying with the Blades.

I wonder if the other speculations on players joining Legacy are also fabricated?

Confirming information? What? That's not how we do things around here.

I have no idea what the official plans are for CrL and ChL. Honestly, I don't.

We just know factually what roster they were on at the end of the season, and it wasn't 03 Blades. So while ranking 03s we ranked them #2.

We will wait until rosters print next Spring.

Now would all of the 03 Orange parents stop throwing tomatoes at me at the rink, please!!!!
