I'm looking forward to Stats's response to you. You two always have amusing banter. I must admit, I chuckle every time I see Lakeville North referred to as the South Metro All Stars, but isn't it really the Southeast Metro All Stars?

South Metro All Stars? I believe that is what they called AHA.
Edina, 5 - 2. Too much speed.

Edina is the number 1 seed and has been very impressive in their two wins to get to the finals. Lakeville North has had to scratch away and win both of their games in overtime. North appears to be banged up a bit....and has played an extra period or so due to the overtimes and the team has to be pretty darned tired....... Edina is going for back to back State Titles............

North 3-2 :D

Oettinger will have to keep nerves in check tonite like he did against Roseau. ( The first two Spinner goals in first period last night were stopable,
especially since EP was wearing black jerseys.). Rowhokl is equal or better technically, and has 3 more years experience on his side,, he should have been a Brimsek finalist

Edina has a strong group of two way forwards that, along with their D corp, , should be able to slow down LV fast paced offense. That will require some of them to stay more defensive minded than their normal game.

I cant say that Ive seen a LV game with a similar neutral zone slow down strategy or capability, those who saw their Hill Murray or Blaine win may have.

Both teams 3 lines deep, enough to stay fresh thru the 3rd period, talent edge to Edina.

Head says this will be a close game between #1 and 2.

Heart says going to be about 6 to 3 Edina..

Head says Edina, heart says LN. After beating 2 excellent teams in Roseau and EP in OT thrillers though I feel like LN is a team of destiny. LN 4-3 in OT.

I hope your right! I have to believe North should be the fan favorites here tonight!

These Edina kids used to go watch as the whole building pulled for whoever played the Hornets. They won't be phased.

Prediction: Edina 4-2.
Be kind. Rewind.

Each of the semi final AA teams rosters consist of multiple top players that relocated/enrolled to their current team.

different opponent this year but same result. Edina 4-2. Edina has too much speed and depth for Lakeville North to hang around for 51 minutes.

I was thinking the same thing. Hope LN can do it, but just think its gonna get ugly from about the middle of the 2nd to the end.

I think Edina takes it 5-2, North spent a lot on gas last night and Edina won't have the let ups Eden Prairie has this tournament.

All in all besides Stillwater this has been a pretty even tournament. North could just as easily gone 0-2 as be in the championship.

Just wondering if the North coach will have all North players start tonight or will he have the coop line start. Edina 5-0.

Typical Edina crap, LS guy gets smacked and Giles laughs. But that's how he coaches. I know this for a fact. He's an idiot!

Lakeville has looked tired from the start.

Ugh. I was just hoping for a good game.

Edina will have played three of the most anticlimactic state tourney games in recent memory. Hats off to them. They step it up when the most is on the line. They just thrive on pressure. It's really something. It just doesn't faze them in the least bit.
The City of Hill Murray is beautiful this time of year

You know he provides color for all the games right? It's not like they pulled him out of the stands.

Everyone hates Edina. So, having Grampa Edina providing color for the game doesn't really help your ratings. My TV just went off.

Thanks for listening.

I'll agree with a dislike for Edina and Lou can be biased at times. But seriously, with these 3 Edina games the last 3 days, what is he supposed to do? The opposition hasn't really done much worth talking about.

At least we had one new champion this year I guess.

Think they might let the senior captain
Goalie play the third in a blow- out?
