Wake up call on Chewing

Anyone that has done the slightest research on this knows that the end game really sucks whether death, mouth rot, tooth loss, mouth cancer...

Parents and coaches should be all over their kids to stop this nasty habit. Show some pics and videos. Do whatever is necessary to scare the bejesus out of the young minds that may have no idea what they're doing.

I've never been much of a baseball fan, but I always loved his passion for the game.

Never had the prima donna attitude so prevalent in pro athletes.

Why are you posting this on a high school hockey forum?

Very high percentage of HS hockey age kids experiment with chewing tobacco. Might get a few kids to not get started...

No, just their parents.

1/2 of my son's HS team chews.

I liked the article and am thankful it was posted so that I could share it with my kids.

Not that I am aware of. They don't text and drive either.........

I keep encouraging them to make good choices. The article helped me. I shared it on Facebook too.

I can't imagine a better place to post an article about the dangers of chew and it's prevalence among baseball and hockey players.
