What I did was become an EZSupporter. The cost is $7 for six months or $12 for a year. EZSupporters don't see those popups you're seeing. At a buck a month, it was worth it to me.

Otherwise, there is software which will stop pop up ads. I'm not familiar with any specific software but I'm sure someone here can fill you in on what they're using that's working for them.

Lee

I installed the Google Toolbar 2.0 on my browser and use the popup blocker feature. It's free and works very well.

Look at the ads above when viewing this topic. Pretty impressive ad technology that the ads for several pop-up solutions magically appear there.

I use and recommend Pop-Up Stopper by PanicWare.com

pop-ups

I am surprised that pops-ups continue. They must be making some money though. Most people I know look at them like I do, like telemarketers or spam, I would never do business with a company that uses these tactics - even if I liked their product.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://pub33.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUser ... hepoint at: 1/7/04 7:26 am
