A bit of a slow week in the big game department, so I added 3 more games featuring teams that were at one time this season ranked in the top 20. We've had a few unranked teams upset ranked teams this season, and it's always difficult to predict the exact scores, so I feel this will add to the challenge. For the BGotW, there are some great candidates, but it's tough to argue with #1 vs. #2, even if Class A, so we're going with Breck @ Blake. I'll be out of town this weekend for the family Christmas gathering, so won't update the final Saturday scores until Sunday PM.

A very interesting week, with several contentious games, a record number of ties predicted, and some interesting matchups. We have 22 competitors this week and 17 games. Last night was the big night, with 9 games on tap.
Mounds View corralled Roseville 5-1. We actually had 7 predictors who favored Roseville as well as one tie, but no one predicted this score.
Wayzata handled St. Paul United 5-2. All but one of our illustrious panel predicted this one. Perhaps with the benefit of a Trojan horse, D6GirlsFan, hockeyfan87, and U10father also nailed the correct score.
In the first upset of the night, Buffalo nipped Champlin Park 1-0. Three of you astutely picked the Bison as the winner, but no correct scores.
With SOG nearly even and the final score dead even, Princeton and Mound Westonka tied 3-3. Although almost everyone picked Mound Westonka to win, kudos to massalsa for not only picking a tie, but also the correct score.
Lakeville North trounced Burnsville 6-0. While we were unanimous in this outcome, MNHockeyFan, The Bone, and hugo_lucas also hit the correct score. Nice predictin', gents.
In what could have been the biggest game of the week, #5AA Edina scored three goals in the 3rd period to double up #3AA Dodge County 4-2. Our panel had 14 favoring the Hornets, with 36Guy, blondegirlsdad, D6GirlsFan, sinbin, MNHockeyFan, and mnhockey3535 also getting the score correct, clearly a very popular score.
In another upset, New Prague blanked Red Wing 2-0. Only four of our panelists foresaw this, but no one was able to garner a correct score point.
Stillwater scored the first two goals of the game, but Cretin-Derham Hall responded by taking a decisive 7-3 win, led by Voight with 4 goals. All but 4 of us had the right outcome, but on one the correct score.
In the final game of the evening, Thief River Falls edged Warroad 1-0, scoring the lone goal in the 3rd. All but 3 of us had the right outcome, but no one predicted such a low-scoring affair.

Just got back into town after driving 500 miles to Wisc and back in dense fog. I feel like I've undergone some sensory deprivation, so hockey sounds like the perfect antidote.
A week with some upsets and other surprises. I'm showing both the Thursday and Saturday games below and interim standings since the website was out of commission mid-week.
In the Thursday games, we have:
Eden Prairie topped Chan/Chaska 4-1, a surprise to none of our learned group, but no one quite getting the correct score.
Maple Grove and BSM tied 2-2, which no one saw coming, although 2 of us did predict a BSM win.
In the biggest game of the week, Blake edged Breck 3-2, falling behind 2-0, before scoring 3 unanswered goals in the 3rd to come away with the victory. 18 or our respondents were correct with clutterbucket, mnhockey3535, rascalbrock, and hockeyfan87 also picking up the extra bonus point for hitting the correct score.

In the first Saturday game, Red Wing blanked Mankato East 5-0. We were unanimous in correctly predicting a Wingers win, but hockeymaven and otter also hit the correct score.
Despite being outshot 34-15, Hopkins doubled up Wayzata 6-3. Only panpan111 and Maverick2000 saw this one coming.
Dodge County shut out Buffalo 3-0. All but 1 of us predicted a DC win, but no one had the correct score.
In the penultimate game this week, another one that might rightfully lay claim to the biggest game of the week, Minnetonka defeated Edina 3-1, the Skippers outshooting the Hornets 41-15. In a divided game according to our panel, 12 had Tonka victorious, but no one predicted fewer than 2 goals for the Hornets.
In the week's final game, much closer than everyone thought, but Eden Prairie held on to defeat Benilde-St. Margeret's 3-2. While we were unanimous in predicting an Eagle win, no one predicted anywhere near that close of a game.
