West Fargo and EGF (which is actually a MN team) are fairly week at 12UA this year. Fargo 12UA is not as strong as they have been in past years. I don't know anything about Bismarck or Minot.goaliedad31 wrote:What do people know about the ND teams. Freeze, Bismarck, EGF, west Fargo and Minot? Which of theses teams is the best?

I'm not sure about how things have always been, but this year, there are about 10-12 good teams and then a drop off. Most associations have at least 1-6 good players at the U12 level, but that doesn't do a team much good if you have 2 lines. The poor players will get picked on by better teams and distort results.goaliedad31 wrote:Lots of blow out games. Is there really this much differentiation in girls hockey. Has it always been like this or are things changing?
You also have to take into account that there are about 10-15 difference makers playing in the MN Made Choice League. Some of those girls don't play for their home associations precisely because of quality of the team. They would surely raise the quality of association play.

Fargo tournament
Was an interesting weekend. We played EGF, Fargo, Shakopee, and Roseau
we finished 2-1-1 some controversy on Fargo's Goalie. Didn't advance based on goal differential. Fargo was better than expected. Bad bounce lead to the tie against Shakopee, Roseau is really good their goalie is 5'10" and athletic. Lost 4-2 with empty netter we learned a lot about ourselves. Looking forward to the rest of the year.
