Sammy's older brother 19 year Jack Walker scored 4 points during the Wild prospect Camp in Traverse City.

Just got word he is invited to the Wild's Main Camp as a free agent starting tomorrow. ....Congrats Jack..!

Edina's Jack Walker, a 19-year-old free agent who plays junior hockey in Victoria, scored again. The 5-foot-9 defenseman/winger (playing left wing with Brady Brassart and Kurtis Gabriel) is following up a quality development camp with what appears to be a good start to this tournament, so we'll see if the Wild brings him to main camp and potentially offers him an NHL or AHL contract this month.

Good for him, but this probably belongs on a different board. There are a LOT of former undrafted and/or free agent Minnesotans invited to NHL training camps.

If we're okay with news like this on the HS board, I request that we keep it to just one thread. Could the mods change the name of the thread to "NHL Training Camp Invitees" or something like that?
