VMIA To Shut Down

Victory Memorial Ice Arena will be shutting down this summer...a victim of the refridgeration changes that are required by rinks to use modern, less ozone eating, coolants. The rink was owned by the Minneapolis School Board and with budget tightening, the rink had to go. While the building and locker rooms were not the greatest, the ice was always very good. Rink will be missed.
