Great job indeed! A full half (11 of 22) of the players who will be representing the USA hail from the "State of Hockey"... pretty remarkable. Best of luck vs. Canada in their 3 game series, which will run from 8/18 to 8/21 in Calgary, Alberta.

USA dominated tonight, beating Canada 6-2. Minnesota girls figured prominently in the win, with Gabby Hughes and Taylor Wente each netting a goal and an assist; Taylor Heise and Catherine Skaja each scoring a goal; Natalie Heising adding two assists; and Gracie Ostertag with one helper.

Great win by the U.S.; let's take the series in Game 3!

The "MN kids" have certainly proven they belong and have done USA hockey proud. Congrats to all who participated in the series win over Canada, and I wish all returning high school players the best in their continued development as they lead their respective teams to a great season in 2016-17.
