Some think its #2 versus #1.
Maybe but no matter it should be a good game.
Maybe a preview of the state AA finals.

I am going with EP.

Although I have zero facts to back it up, my impression is that outdoor games are more unpredictable than indoor games. But after watching the EP/Edina game last night I'm going with EP.

Rain could wreck this game. That would be a shame. I keep hearing it's on, outdoors, rain or shine. I would prefer a game on good ice indoors.

EP wins this game indoors, on good ice and not on hockey day. Stillwater wins this game on what will be poor ice conditions and on hockey day.

SW 3
EP2

IMHO
The City of Hill Murray is beautiful this time of year

4-1 final EP with an empty netter shots were 31-28 for EP I believe

For as much zone time as the Ponies had, they really didn't generate many chances. Somebody probably also should have told them to stop shooting at the EP goalies glove because he clearly had that spot down.

Agreed. They had good possession, but it never seemed to go anywhere. Even when Stilly had a lopsided edge in shots early on, it still seemed like EP was getting the better scoring chances. The Ponies are good in every department, but might need a few more flashes out of their big guns for a deep playoff run.

EP's playing some pretty good hockey right now; they look comfortable both controlling play and sitting back and counterpunching, as they were doing early on in this one. It's somewhat rare that high school teams can do both well. I've seen them four times in the past two weeks, and they're looking very good right now.

Nice work by Stillwater hosting, it was a beautiful setting and it seemed like the ice held up pretty well in spite of the warm weather and rain earlier on. (The cloud cover did help...the sun coming out for just a little while in Duluth made it ugly, even with much colder temps.)
