I agree on both teams you pointed out, but it hardly delegitimizes the whole ranking -- its unscientific -- you look at the scientific "polls" and they have holes too

Those two do appear somewhat missed placed. Most definitely, a few "legacy" votes flow their way. Others receiving such "votes" (IMO)
are HM and EP.

My opinion, and not just because we all know their goalie : ).......

Forest Lake is underranked. They look like a top 5 team based on their current form.

I think they are ranked where they belong...split games with WBL and CDH, lost to Stillwater and 0 wins against a top team....looking at their schedule, they are pretty much where one would expect with wins and losses. The Stillwater and CEC losses probably the biggest surprise.

SEC is goofy.

When FL wins they win by a lot but also lose to teams they shouldn't maybe. Cretin and Stillwater are jekyl and hyde and beat top teams and lose to or squeak by bad teams. Stillwater has beat Minnetonka, Cretin and Forest Lake yet get pounded some games. Cretin, same thing as they play really well at times yet lose to Stillwater and Roseville yet tie Blake, beat East Ridge and MV semi easily.

Minnetonka and Wayzata do appear ranked higher than they should be? Especially Minnetonka.

Maybe there is just a lot of parity outside the top few. Not sure about injuries/illness or multiple goalies which can factor in. Once in a while the flu bug will get an entire team.

Edina will be tough to beat.
