Interesting that of the 16 total sections, 11 of them have come down to a final matching the #1 seed playing #2 (6/8 in Class A; 5/8 in AA). Goes to show that as far as the seeding process was concerned the coaches got it mostly right, with the only major surprise so far being 7A with #1 Proctor/Hermantown bowing out to #5 Duluth Marshall in the semifinal.

Heading to 3rd OT...

WBL wasn't really able to test Hill tonight. WBL is a young team, but the bad news is so is Hill-Murray. Hill has 3 seniors total on the team. They are going to be really good again next year.

Sounds like a heckuva game. But whichever team loses will be heartbroken.
I'll always remember the Section final I played in way back in the dark ages, when we lost in triple overtime to WBL. :(

Scary thought.

EP tied it with 2 minutes left. You have to go to the front page of the hub to get the real updates...

Heading to OT as well.

Brainerd v Roseau is 3 minutes from a 4th OT....

The girls have to be absolutely exhausted. You just hope that a good goal wins it, not a fluke.
Thanks! Have it on now...

EP and Tonka heading to 2nd OT.

Brainerd and Roseau looking hard at 5th OT. Still 3 minutes left in 4th OT.

Sounds like both Warriors and Rams have had numerous chances. Obviously more for Brainerd, but Roseau has had at least three 3 on 1s in OT that I've listened to.

What's interesting on the Brainerd broadcast is they name every player with the puck. But since I don't know anyone on either team, it's not terribly helpful.

EP wins 2-1 in double OT over Tonka. Defending champs return.

LOL. I'm having the same issues! I don't know what the shots are, but it seems like Olivia King is making some huge saves to keep Brainerd/Little Falls alive.

Much tougher win than most expected! Have to give lots of credit to Tonka for showing so much improvement from the beginning to end of the season.

My attempt as seeding AA:

1. Edina (no doubt, no argument).
2. Hill-Murray (completely interchangeable with Blaine, but they get the nod with past performance).
3. Blaine
4. EP (6 losses drops them)
5. Forest Lake (it's not going to be Farmington, Roseau or EastView)

Game 1: HM v Roseau
Game 2: Blaine v Eastview
Game 3: Edina v Farmington
Game 4: Eden Prairie v Forest Lake
