1 Breck 11-3-2
2 Delano 13-2-1
3 Orono 11-5-0
4 Blake 9-7-0
5 Minneapolis 9-9-0
6 Mound Westonka 7-10-0
7 New Prague 5-12-0
8 Providence Academy 6-10-0
9 Bloomington Kennedy 3-13-2
10 Waconia 3-12-0
?? Southwest Christian

This is difficult.
QRF and page stat and MYHockey have it Breck then Delano.
Works for me.

Delano is locked at 1 seed - they won the head to head match-up with Breck.

Mound is ahead of Mpls, they beat them 5-2.

SW Christian won't be in play-offs this season - next year.

Section 2A

#4 Blake over #5 Minneapolis in a 2 goal game

#2 Breck over #3 Orono by 2-4 goals
#1 Delano #1 over #4 Blake by 4-5 goals

#1 Delano and #2 Breck in a dandy! Take your pick on this one. Breck has the better D corps and depth up front. Delano has the better goalie and lethal top line. Breck will outshoot Delano, but Delano will win.

Having seen all these teams I can say with confidence that Delano would get by Orono without alot of trouble. Now next year I think Orono will be much more of a contender. A Delano--Breck final will be a barn burner!

No question Delano top line is skilled, dangerous and fun to watch. But, I would match the Breck top line up against any line in the state as well. Not sure how you can say Delano has the better goalie as he has a higher GAA and a lower Save %. Hope it comes down to these 2.

No Monticello will get that honor.

Orono will get to lose to EGF.

3A Luverne is the lowest seed state bound IMO. But aren't the bottom 3 seeds made at random anyways?

Congrats to Minneapolis on their first ever quarterfinal win. You have to go back to 1997 to find the last Mpls city school victory in the quarters: South 2-1 over AHA.
