I would throw Cloquet and Elk River into the 7AA conversation and STMA into the 8AA conversation.... With a touch of Roseau.

I wouldn't sleep on Holy Family in 2AA. They lost some great players, but still have a very solid team. After coming so close last year to making it to the big show they will be determined this year.

I’m thinking there could be 5 section outcome tossups this year:

1AA
2AA
4AA
5AA
7AA

Yes, and HF added a goalie, the F from Delano and 2 new D.

I believe the player who was injured this summer was from Minnehaha Academy and another who was from STMA. I think they are both juniors.

Info From the Summer tournament the Fire played held at Braemar I saw:

Defensemen Spinner & Rasmussen Transfers
Forwards/ Haley & Pinoiemi Transfers
Goalie Hayton Transfer (Looked very good)

Also heard they are getting Tabor back from Waterloo (USHL).

Almquist is confirmed back from Tri-City (USHL) last week via Twitter page.

Looks like Tabor has only played in 4 of the 8 games. Doesn't make sense to be there and he a healthy scratch. Or has he been injured?

I'm confused as to why anyone would ever leave Delano. Isn't it going to be them and Hermantown every year for the next 15 in class A?
The U invented swagger.

Park Rapids should be listed before the Green Wave. Everyone knows this. :)

I'll give it a shot:

1AA - Lakeville North vs. Lakeville South
2AA - Holy Family vs. Eden Prairie
3AA - STA vs. Burnsville
4AA - Hill vs. Stillwater
5AA - Centennial vs. Maple Grove
6AA - Edina vs. Wayzata
7AA - Duluth East vs. Elk River
8AA - Moorhead vs. STMA

It will be fun to look back in four months to see how these picks played out.
