On this week's edition:

-Results that surprised us
-We play 'guess the player' trivia
-Recaps of games we attended and others we got updates on through my network of 7AA spies
-A discussion on the trend toward earlier player commitments
-We hate on the Edina Holiday Classic
-Tony earns a fluky win in Pick'Em, while we send Danny to Gamblers' Anonymous
-Games of the week, as always

I think you guys spent more time laughing than talking.

The total broadcast time would have been around 30 minutes. :D

The Edina Holiday Classic probably won’t be as good as it was in recent years, but you still have three of the four teams in the top 20, and Eden Prairie and Elk River are bubble top ten teams. The games involving Grand Rapids could get out of hand (I think GR will be lucky to win five games all season with a very difficult schedule and not much to work with talent-wise), but Edina/EP, Elk River/EP, and perhaps Edina/Elk River could be competitive. Plus, when you play three consecutive nights in a row, anything can happen, especially when you get to day two and three.

Good show !

Seems like I’m always running into Danny or Tony at the games, so I guess that means they are picking the right ones?

Just seeing the Hornets and Rams green for the opening faceoff at Braemar was really neat to add to my long list of top memories . I actually got the best photo of any of the media . We sat with the Rams fans , and I Understand the two teams parents and friends got together for dinner beforehand , was glad to hear about that off ice mutual respect gesture .

Would agree with someone else’s comment to maybe consider shrinking down the amount of time devoted to the trivia segments. This weeks was a little tricky to follow, I had to get out my Excel spreadsheet to keep track😀!

Programming note to the handful of listeners who tune in each week.

We plan to record on Wednesday next week, not this Sunday. We will cover the previous 10 days and preview the next 10.

Should be a really good show.

West - remember, we've been accused of being the same person. So of course we're at the same games all the time :)
