Andover wins 2-0. Fritsinger shutout against potent Couger offense. When I checked stats last Sunday, Frits was in the top five AA save percentage I think. 7AA drama ahead.

Edina 3, Wayzata 1

First game I got to see in a few weeks. After Edina got their third goal just a couple minutes into the second period, it looked like they might blow the game wide open, but Wayzata hung tough. Wong kept the Trojans in the game after some defensive miscues in their own zone and breakaway scoring chances. The kids were hitting, some big hits, but wasn't an overly physical game. The close score kept tempers and chippy play in check. Lewis Crosby had a nice night with a couple goals. Wayzata couldn't get much going on their PP opportunities. Garrett Mackay was solid in the Edina net - hopefully was a confidence booster for him. Really good crowd on hand at the PIC.
