I was at the CEC vs. Mirage game tonight in Cloquet. Mirage 3-2 win. It was fun to watch and some great hockey. I like that these 2 are in the same section again! :)

Wow! It’s like crickets in this girls high school hockey forum. Sad.

Couldn't make the game, my job hours have changed. Still peek here and there, last year of my all of my nieces and nephews playing HS hockey. I'll be bored after this season. From what Iheard the proctor and my lumberjills are pretty close. Marshall is still on top as they beat Proctor twice in a row. Hibbing is way down this year, so I'd put them behind Ifalls at 5th maybe? After that, you have some bad teams. The 7A is up for grabs. Marshall has the best goalie and forwards by the sounds of things. Proctor has some good D but weak forwards and goalies. My jills have some strong goal scorers and a goalie getting better all the time. Should be interesting. Thanks for the support knify, see you at the rink.

Looks like it will end up as follows;

1. Marshall
2. Mirage
3. I Falls
4. CEC
5. Hibbing
6. Moose Lake
7. Eveleth
8. North Shore

I think the top 2 are strongest teams but any of the top 6 could pull off an upset. I Falls has been on fire as of late.

Upsets all over section 7A. #4 seeded Jacks get beat by #5 seeded Hibbing in 4 OTs. Hibbing goes and beats the #1 see Marshall in OT.

That Hibbing program is one to be careful of.

Jacks move to single A wasn't as easy of a cake walk to win the section as some might of thought?
