Denfeld

Post by gr19 » Mon Nov 14, 2005 11:49 pm

What happened to the days when Denfeld was a "Tier 1" power? I remember going to an OT game Rapids lost to them like in '92 in Hibbing. Anyone else go to that game? I remember Denfeld barely got the puck over the line and it was a slow moving puck. I think the goalie was screened. Nice that HMB hasn't changed at all since then. Gotta love the wrigley field of Minnesota.

Are you sure about Central...I think you might be wrong. Seen them over the summer and I wouldn't turn my back to them. I saw a couple of their games last year and it wasn't good. I believe they had put person to coach that had no idea about the sport or coaching. So with a new coach lets see what happens.

no im sure, they have almost no skill and so far this season have been wracked by discipline problems, including a drinking occurence at capt's practice.

- also im not sure y ur scared off turning ur back on them

-minnhock muckraker-

Central Coach

Post by IceProphet07 » Wed Nov 16, 2005 8:37 pm

I've heard that Central's new coach will definitely be an asset to the program, he apparently doesn't have much experience with losing and he knows how to develop a squad of players into a team of winners. Maybe not this year, but given a few years to develop, Central could probably become a competitive program.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... ophet07 at: 11/16/05 8:41 pm

war hock wrong again they do have skill and the drinking lets just say things that have happened before doesn't mean they still are happening. It's like that at every school, Denfeld has themself a handful of off season drinkers smokers. And thats a proven fact. Anyways With this new coach at Central I believe this is the start of a long well needed change. Give the program a chance and then well talk at the end of the season.

how did u prove me wrong? They are not a skilled team, and as for the drinking, im not talking about generalities, it happened. Anyways why does denfeld have anything to do with this? i thought we were talking about central. yea u are right the program needs a change and in a couple of years they'll get it. A co-op with the hunters.

Your right, this is about Central not Denfeld. But I feel that people are short changing Central. There has to be some talent on that team and yes within a few years the two schools Central and Denfeld will be one team.

Saw Denfeld yesterday and they are fast. I mean really fast, with Bordson gone this team looks good. Forwards are fast and strong the defence isn't as strong but will come in time. This team will turn alot of heads around.
