It's been a good year for MN goalies at both the NAHL and USHL (Bischel, Moe and Stauber has been lights out in the playoffs) levels this season

Agreed.

Stauber was great in his shutout over Tri-City last night. Mankato St will be set for the next 5-6 years with their two freshman studs now plus an incoming Stauber in 2 years Id guess. Unfortunately it looks like Fear has the net over Moe in the playoffs for Waterloo, although Fear was pulled recently. Will be interesting to see when Moe comes to the Gophers with their two (high level) new incoming transfers. Kid was a stud last year and battled injuries this year sadly.

Didn't Moe receive a 'pursue other interests' notice from Motzko/Gophers over this past winter? Or merely rumor?

I believe just a rumor although with their most recent pickups (including LaFontaine and Close), I could see him taking his talent elsewhere on his own accord. He won’t see as much ice time as he or the Jets would want IMO. Unless he wants to age out in juniors -which most draft picks avoid.

Thanks for heads up. We shall see...hope he sticks around the program as there is lot of potential there.

I think a lot of shuffling to former 'commits' coming over next two years. On the EliteProspects profile for D-Jake Boltmann, Edina it states '19-'20 he is slated for U so truly hoping thats a mistake. Gophs dont need another HS senior playing college puck. So,not sure on that intel - I've heard everything from Boltmann 1) might have received 'keep options open' letter from the U to 2) maybe senior year in Bloomington, Ill as an ACE to 3) a 'before & after' scenario for senior year (fingers-crossed for that but probs doubtful). Let a Duder know blogosphere...

Had to add that info for you  Unfortunately there won’t be as many honors like that to go around for the old alma mater in the foreseeable future.

I didn't realize Robb had a son committed to MSUM. Another lost legacy for the Gophers.

(No I'm not suggesting they should recruit all of them nor should they be entitled to them. Just an observation)

Played at Holy Family thru 10th grade. Left when Moe came along and went to Victory Honda u18 and along to juniors. Has has a very solid last 18 months. Gophers were never in the mix. They might have been had he been uncommitted 4-6 months ago, they may have not seen a need to get LaFontaine and Close. I think the writing is on the wall for Moe to go somewhere else to play. 6th round NHL draft picks don’t age out in juniors nor do they sit a few years on a college bench.
