The transfer I’ve been mentioning above has been confirmed. Not sure how widely known .
Type of thing you want the family or team to announce, or someone who follows the home team for the Forum will know the right time better than me . Imho , it’s big . Urge the 6 posters who were following my story originally to check with all their home teams contacts . If they don’t know , it’s not time to announce .

I will say this to Karl, Kniven, and all Rapids faithful - the kid played in the Metro last year.
But , statewide implications at the X next year in more ways than one. Setting up a great battle

Lee and Karl, I’m doing my best to generate lots posts during the summer Forum doldrums !

Wait, I think I'm figuring this out. Some high schooler is going to be playing for the Wild. They're finally getting some goal scoring help!

DM is not moving down
I can see how you got that out of my comment, but that is not what I meant. I was indicating that there are AA players at Marshall that could potentially move to single A programs like Denfeld and Hermantown. Sorry.....I really was not clear on that with me previous comment.

Im looking for a solid secondary confirmation on the transfer information. The first source is always right 99.9%, but the name is so explosive that have to be 100+%, and even then may be best to wait for family announcement.

BTW- Arent CEC and Rapids in Karl and Kniven home territory?

See other thread for possible early departures , very early, no real solid info except Pitlick gone and Biondi very likely staying?
and one of the original clues still stands? AA to A?
Now I think it's overhyped. Ive also checked with my NE Mpls Polish friends and they said waiting until 7/19 is far too long.
You have until next Friday, 6/14.
Otherwise? Well, these guys have nothing to lose and I know where you live in the 612! Not sayin, just sayin...
Either that or round of golf at remodeled Braemar. The choice is yours.

The people I have talked to who have played the newly remodeled Braemar said their rounds took 4:45 to 5:00 hours to play 18. It's common to have 3 groups waiting on the tee on hole number 13 (the par 3 down the hill). You will have plenty of time to bond.

Okay, what the heck, I'll play.

Transfer between classes and the direction of the transfer is very unusual.

Everyone is reading this as AA to A. Why would we interpret "between" classes as AA to A? Would that not be "Across" classes? And couldn't "Direction" be Geographical, i.e. Metro to the 218? That definitely fits the unusual tag.

one of today’s responders home team is the departing players team . If they don’t know, that tells you it’s very closely held.

Karl and CakeScout the only two of the six with clear team affiliation. BlueBlood confirmed no Tonka, and SlapShot also appears to be a Tonka guy. But I don't know if 6AA guy affiliates with a team, he seems to be more of a fan of everybody. But could he be an Eden Prairie guy? See below.

the kid played in the Metro last year.

Okay, obviously not Karl, that leaves CakeScout.

Urge the 6 posters who were following my story originally to check with all their home teams contacts . If they don’t know , it’s not time to announce.

He's urging 5 metro guys, plus Karl to check with their home contacts. Why would Karl be included if 218 is not?

But , statewide implications at the X next year in more ways than one. Setting up a great battle

Statewide. I read that as further evidence of a South to North move. I read the great battle to mean 7AA, which this kid's addition would do.

BTW- Arent CEC and Rapids in Karl and Kniven home territory?

Further evidence of the 218 being involved.

but the name is so explosive that have to be 100+%

If we deduce Edina, then there is no more "explosive" of a name than Jake Boltmann.

Add it all up. Jake Boltmann to Rapids or CEC? Either would set up a pretty good battle in 7AA.

Long Shot - If there is an Eden Prairie guy in the 6 posters, I believe Carter Batchelder's Dad is from Bemidji. Could he long for a return to the North?

Now that is a well-researched post, Jeffy.
this has become quite an interesting thread given everyone's input.
I think it's time for WestMetro to chime in with some more "nuggets" we can dissect. Let's go, Westy!!

The one thing that gives me pause on Boltmann moving that far is I believe both of his parents are teachers. It is almost certain they would not switch jobs, given how teacher retirement works.

So, if it is Boltmann, and "between" classes does mean AA to A, with Statewide implications at the X, setting up a great battle, etc. I would guess Mahtomedi. That could then mean setting up a great Statewide battle between Hermantown, Cathedral and Mahto at the X.

Long drive from Mahtomedi to Edina and Shakopee, however. So perhaps not Boltmann at all. The mystery lives on.....

haha! Yikes - Id rather paint somebody's house than a 5 hr rd of golf. Thats insane. I miss Tricky Freddy Dick 9 hole that STILL sits unused. 9 holes, Par 3 for $12.00. Was perfect weekday practice session.

Boltmann is either doing the B & A with juniors and staying at Edina or he's gone FT to Juniors. And solid as he is w/ a decent future I dont see him being the 'game-changer' with instant implications at the X as a D-man. However, not sure there's another 'impact player' from Edina that would get West all geared up to this degree of tease...Jackson Borst? Should have big things in store, but not currently worthy of all this banter. Checked with 3 sources within the Edina Assoc and so far? Nothing. Hmmm...EP? Batchelder? Holt? I think its more Westy teasing us and getting the forum out of the offseason doldrums. AA to A is what throws me off...odd, indeed.

With school skates and Captain's skates in full swing next week won't the secret be revealed Monday somewhere?

Tonka? One with big name crossed classes to move in last year... maybe back to A? Shattuck transfer could bounce again? Don’t know that these would have the “X implications” that Westy is talking about. Have to admit, this has added some intrigue to a slow time.

Both Mittelstadts to Kennedy. It fits. Hurts EPS chance of winning state and gives Kennedy a great chance of winning at A. It’s also highly unusual!

The cards all add up that it's the goalie in the locker room with the skate guard.

Someone in the last dozen posts or so is getting closer to the answer

Yesterday, or else the day before, I sent a PM to the Forums home team member on this thread. Im going to leave it up to him to decide when appropriate time to post to the Forum

In the meantime, I understand our good friend MinnScout has some interesting news, unrelated to the kid I have been talking about. But then his home team ALWAYS has interesting and controversial news! Over to you MinnScout!

I know that Uma the goalie at Breck is headed back to Edina. Does that count as explosive? No one's really thought about the female angle :D

Does Blake dislike the coach at EP enough to move back to the 218?

Could be? They'd have to claim financial hardship to transfer back though I would think (which I would think would be hard considering they're loaded). Also, he's already experiencing hip or knee issues from overuse according to my source. He and his father were told to shut it down for a while and let the kid heal up.

Where in the world do you guys come up with this? He is not going anywhere and he did not get hurt by over use.
