Hill Murray vs. Wayzata

Post by WBLBEARS06 » Tue Nov 29, 2005 4:14 pm

Im surprised nobody has started this one yet. Ok, hill should have a good team this year but will lack goaltending. Wayzata has lost a key player in Lucia but have some quality still returning in Joey Miller. I think this will be a high scoring game with Wayzata taking advantage of hill goalie and winning 5-4.
The curse lives on.....

Hill Murray vs. Wayzata

i'm being optimistic here but i predict hill will win by 2 or more goals. they are going to surprise this year.........with key returners like hoeffel, mcaneaney (sp?), skarda.........minus some very selfish and underachieving seniors the mix is right for a very "hill" like season.

I am predicting Hill by 3. 6-3. I am anxious to see how they do in their first game this year...should be a fast paced game...

Considering Wayzata has given up 10 goals in their first two games they might be the ones who need to worry about goaltending/defense, not Hill, especially with the speed and scorers that HM has up front and their key returnees on D.

I am gonna go with Hill 6-4 in this one. This should be a good measuring stick for HM to see how good they really are before the big game against the Bears next Tuesday.

hate to say it but this game could see a dozen goals scored. being honest hill's experienced d is very suspect in that they are all weak, run around in the d zone, and cough up the puck far too much. hill may outscore wayzata but come tuesday white bear's larger and stronger forwards will manhandle hill's weak and panic strickened d.

hill d

Post by Ibleedgreen » Tue Nov 29, 2005 8:23 pm

they do have 4 returners but i personally think the forwards will be the strength of the team. the d will be overmatched against traditionally big and strong teams like wb, moorhead, etc.

hill's d is a stong point i bleed green is a jealous player who couldn't hack the system thats what i get from his posts who had to stick to golf

hoeffel and arrigoni(sp) can put up as many points as needed from what i saw in elite league these two are unstoppable together or were. but if they are shut down hill's d cannot only stop goals but derek m and gabe g can also put up goals

Hill will win

If Hill cant handle Wayzata they are not a contender for State this season. Wayzata lost Lucia and Wyers and Joey Miller still has football legs.

Hopefully the Wayzata coach can concentrate on coaching his team this season instead of promoting his kid. Unfortunately for him and the rest of Trojan land the best players have left for greener pastures and the outlook looks bleak.

Hill Murray 5 - Wayzata 1

hckyfanatic -

no need to get personal but you are wrong. i played long ago and have followed the program from the bealieu years. just my opinions that were not meant to rip anyone. i encourage you to post your opinions without the assumptions and accusations. the games are not far off now so we will see how things go soon.

HM

hckyfanatic-
ibleedgreen is the only HM fan that is not biased. All you HM guys cry and cry whenever one bad word is said. It is actually funny to read. The Bealieu years, now those were the days, the POWER days. the record will tell you that. Wayzata is down this year, HM win 6-4.

I see 5-2 Hill. I would even take 5-1 with Miller skating the whole game.
