I don't have a credit card/debit card, is there a way for me to donate by check or money order?

Warroad,

You can sign up for PayPal, which just requires a bank account. This takes a few days to complete but is free and painless and can be used for a lot of online purchases all over the web.

You can also sign up for one of the EZBoard marketing partner's offers (I am not sure if any of these require credit cards).

See the partner offers and how much each will contribute toward our goal at <a href="http://www.metareward.com/f?si=468&ci=4 ...

I know that EZBoard used to accept money orders but I do not think that they accept them any longer.

Hopefully, we can meet the goal quickly and clean the board of the pledge drive. The "donation box" has only been open for about 9 hours and we have collected 40% of the necessary funds.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... wker>Mitch Hawker at: 11/28/05 7:14 pm

Sign up to donate on one of the pinned up boards.

Id be happy to chip in a 5, but wouldnt it be easier for you all to just switch from the old and crippled internet explorer to Mozilla Firefox for a web browser(www.firefox.com)? It will kill all of those popups for you, is free, and is from the awesome Google people. Also...its way more resistant to spyware and all of the crap that hackers use against IE. Just my .02.

Some quick info; if you use a credit card to charge your donation, one of the pieces of info EZ Board asks for is your phone number. If you don't want them to have this info (and I certainly don't, we get enough solicitors calling already), just enter "unlisted". I tried it and it worked fine.

Not sure about putting a valid email address in. You may be able to fake that, also, if you don't want to end up on some spammers email list. Not saying that EZ Board does this, but I have no way to know for sure that they don't.

Lee
____________
Message Board arsonist since 2005

I put the link to donate in the first post of this thread.

Firefox and other pop-up stoppers do pretty well but some of the pop-ups on the boards seemed immune to them and there are other benefits to gold status such as sticky topics, etc.

Re: e-mail address, remember that EZBoard already was given that info from us when we registered and their privacy policy says that they do not share that information.
