Wayzata beat BSm 4-2 incl eng . Preview of possible Section 6 semi next Feb . Penalty box was full most of the game.Kids appeared to laugh it off during/after handshake line . Sarsland was at Nat Camp

Saw Pino put in great snipe for first HF goal against Lvn . Could get 75 points and give Biondi a run for his money for Mr Hockey? Left that one at 2-0 to watch CEC vs Gleason Cdh . All purple . Left after scoreless first half

Looking forward to Cakescout comments on Blake vs Andover
Sarsland plus at least 6 others not playing for BSM

218 is undefeated through the first two games. Rapids very impressive . CEC D and goalie especially strong both days , but victim of untimely 5 on 3 at end of Lvn game , so had to settle for the tie . JJ not here fir the hounds

CEC beat STA this morning 2-1. I’m not there today so I have no idea what’s going on. Oh. Grand Rapids looked very nice yesterday. 7AA is going to be difficult this year for sure.

Who is on the title game today? Yesterday just watching Matt Gleason play was worth the $5 admission ☝️

At least two 218 teams advanced from their pools. MG (minus 3 NTDP players) still makes the ship.

Fun game to watch. Saw all the morning action. Should be a good build up for the upcoming season.

Holy hell Maple Grove parents hate Todd Bergland. I don’t think I heard one nice thing about him 😂 Sounds like most want former Omg BAA coach Tom Adolph - who’s currently a MG assistant now to take the reigns.

Section 5 should be MGs though. Minus Janicke, Faber, Kelley, and Haider and still very formidable. I think 5aa is down as a whole minus MG.

Don't run to hot on MG yet, most teams did not have complete rosters or played guys who won't even see varsity ice next yer. MG will be good, but they won't be unchallenged. I don't know many teams who gauge their season off summer games... Blaine wasn't represented, and now hear Richels is a before and after guy, so they will compete in 5AA, Centennial I hope did not play just their varsity, TG won 2 (but one was a forfeit, bad Orono... shame on you)... I mean, BSM must be trash then, they lost, Andover lost... etc.

I will say it is funny to watch parents puff their chest when they win a couple summer games though... FLAKE parents were/are pretty excited but came down to reality a little, HF... ehhh.... LS had 2 teams and were ehhh... CEC came to win (good for you), etc. etc.

Who won the MG vs Wayzata game? Obviously it’s a summer tourney, but it speaks volumes about the depth of MG program (with no end in sight) to lose 4 marquee players and still be a contender.

Yea, that’s crazy. MG in the top 20 😮. That doesn’t make sense.....to a goat 🐐 maybe. MG’s squirts, peewee and bantam AA squads have been killing it in youth hockey for 15 years. They are unfortunately the feeder program to many other metro hockey powers.
