Well the Brahmas are NAHL not USHL... and yeah that would be HUGE for Blaine....

Also looks like Muck may have had a brown water or 3 and thumbed this post out on the dock looking over the lake

CEC looses Langenbrunner but we loose nobody else. CEC will be just fine this year. 🤓

So you are confident that Galatz is staying? Still hearing grumbling that Galatz is considering Juniors or Hermantown. He should just enroll at Greenway with all the other Hibbing kids.

Galatz is playing for Wilderness to start the season. We’ll see if he goes back.

Hermantown is trying hard to get him but my sources say he will stay at Cloquet if he plays High School. Hermantown needs a goalie and they have been recruiting hard all over the State. We’ll see if they get one.

I could be mistaken, but I thought they needed to be enrolled by Aug 1st if transferring??

He was a 3rd liner for Superior last year, plays hard but not much offensive talent. Scored 10 points playing more than half the schedule against WI teams...

Is the Motzko move to SCC 100% and the announcement (unless I missed it) just a formality?
[/quote]

I have a feeling this is a done deal.
The move may happen based on his age (He is 18 and can go live on his own in St Cloud (or teammate family for that matter) if he wants to- ..what are the rules if a player transfers as an adult individual still in HS?)
Might be a tough spot given profile of family.
I think Mack should be allowed to go back and play with his buddies at SCC- no BS
Just sayin...

Another Possible very tricky situation for mshsl

But : There are options for the family

No way would they put SCC in jeopardy in a very possible repeat title year

Good point Westy...
River Lakes would make him Captain.
And he could still play cards with his pals.

But not going to the X in March is important.

It's not tricky at all. As has been said many times before, if he wants to be eligible at Cathedral, all his family has to do is move to a school district other than Minnetonka. (Him being 18 means nothing) They can still live in the Metro. Technically, they are all supposed to live together. But unless someone stops into his parent's house and checks to see if his toothbrush is wet, there is zero chance that would be enforced.

So why is it "very tricky" for the MSHSL?

I said “possibly” tricky ....

I’m not sure family has moved yet or what their plans are for moving

Meanwhile it’s possible he will be at SCC in two weeks

There are Forum people much closer to situation than me , if they want to comment

As I say, very doubtful they would put SCC at risk or that SCC coach would accept any risk.
