You know what? Call me crazy but the Ely-Moose lake game might be fun to watch. Sure, neither of them is likely to make any noise for ages, & may be fortunate to have a team on the ice, but given that, still could be entertaining.

Walleyguy a few years ago I read an article on Let's Play Hockey or somewhere about the Moose Lake team & how they were trying to build a program. Most of the players were & maybe still are playing both ends of the ice & trying to have a team in spite of trying times & losing some players to H-town. Author mentioned Moose Lake should look to the west at Greenway's program rising out of ashes for encouragement.
Hope this goes through; lost the first one; too much to repeat again! lol

I was reminded in a book called Puck Heaven by Jim Hoey (worth getting) when Ross coached those teams to 3 consecutive titles from '64-'66. Undefeated in '66. He was a great one! I believe Tim Sheehy's grandson plays for the Gophers now. Grandson? Boy, I'm dating myself!! LOL!
