Section 2AA Seeding Discussion

I haven't seen much discussion about seedings for 2AA. The middle of the pack seems set, the big question is who gets #1 and #2?

QRF:
1 - Eden Prairie
2 - Prior Lake
3 - Minnetonka
4 - Chaska
5 - Holy Family
6 - Shakopee
7 - New Prague
8 - Chanhassen

Karl has (as of 2/9):
1 - Prior Lake
2 - Eden Prairie
3 - Minnetonka
4 - Chaska

Prior Lake is 5-1 in 2AA games, including wins over EP, Minnetonka, Holy Family. Loss to Chaska. Does that put them in the #1 seed?
EP should be safely ahead of Minnetonka, they split head-to-head, otherwise much better record/QRF.
Minnetonka beat Chaska.
Holy Family seems safely in the #5, beat New Prague, lost to Prior Lake.
Chanhassen beat New Prague and Shakopee. Does that move them to #6 despite lower QRF?
Shakopee beat New Prague.

Both Prior Lake and Chaska will scream if coaches meeting doesn’t give Lakers the No. 1 seed. Because they both see a decent shot to win that semi and make it to Mariucci

Which means Smith and Goldy will want Ep to get it.

HF and New Prague should both vote with Lakers .

Shak would probably vote for Ep,

Chan probably neutral for first round opponent, but suspect would vote for PL

Could be a 5-3 vote for Lakers

You’ve been reading too much of the Dave Spehar parody. Not sure where all the 2AA conspiracy theorists came from. Seems like this section has been pretty spot on and straightforward for the last few years.

Don’t sleep on HF. They have been to 3 Section Finals in a row. PL and Chaska have not for quite a few years. Should be a great section playoffs with Tonka vs EP. Tonka already proven they can beat EP.
