USC vs. Oklahoma

Post by Whos Your Daddy »

It's not hockey but since there is no hockey on tv anymore we might as well watch a very good football game. So who do you have to win USC or the Sooners?

OU

It's 7-7 right now (USC just scored), and I'm going with Oklahoma. The Pac-10 has been exposed over and over again (including the pathetic effort by Cal in a game they thought they were FAR too good for), and OU has been tested by better teams all year. That said, USC has some excellent players and may be immune to the Pac-10 mediocrity, but I'm still going with the team that has been tested all year by the best teams in the nation, and that's Oklahoma. I still don't like 'em, though. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /smile.gif ALT=":)">

Evidently, I wildly overrated Jason White.

Dominique Byrd, the home grown boy from Minnesota had a marvelous catch. Byrd of course played for Breck (also good at football in this state of hockey). They also have Vanderboom from Breck on their squad who played quarterback at Breck but now is Byrd's back up at Tight End. Have to root for the boys from Minnesota, although both of then played basketball come winter time.

Auburn's offense could barely get off the ground last night against V Tech, and if it wasn't for 2 goal line stops inside the 10 V Tech would have won. I think USC and Utah are the two best teams in the country.

By the way, Dominque Byrd, the TE for USC that caught the first TD is a former Metro Player of the Year from Breck. That school has had some extremely talented athletes.

Va Tech gave usc a good game at the beginning of the seaon, auburn at least would have given them a game, this is truly a sad national title game

in my opinion i think the whole system is a bunch of crap, they need to come up with a better or at least fairer way to do things.
