Vikings/Eagles

Post by verb1999 »

Are you all going to trash talk the Vikes and count them out of this one too, ahead of time? People in this state are spoiled brats and unless their sports team/QUARTERBACK is PERFECT, they will hate them/him.

The Vikings will win this game for two reasons:

Game 1. Vikings lost a close, hard fought battle in game one, and they'll want the redemption, in the same fashion that they wanted the victory in Green Bay.

Owens is out. This means minus momentum for the Eagles, and with our win in Green Bay, we have plus momentum. McNabb is tough, but so are the Vikings when they have their hearts in the game.

*Bonus reason* Cause Verb says they'll win.

Give me a hockey game. I could care less about the Vikings. Man I miss the NHL. At least we still have Fox running some old games of the Wild and North Star games.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p074.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... upucker at: 1/11/05 6:45 am

I miss hockey sooooo much also but its still fun to watch the Vikes make themselves look stupid. If it isn't the Defense screwing up then its moss acting stupid.

You all are the fools who act stupid. Minnesota sports way more often than not excel, and in some cases (Twins, Wild) completely over-achieve. And what do you constantly hear Minnesota residents doing? Whining and complaining about their sports, or specific players (DAUNTE). Why don't you all just shut the ffff up. Is it not good enough that he's the 2nd best quarterback in the league and not the first? What do you all want??? Honestly! Sports in Minnesota are excellent. Not only are we lucky enough to have the 4 major sports in this state (if you'd think for once, you'd realize not many places have this, other than a Florida, California or New York), but they all win! But unless these teams are PERFECT, every single person will have something to complain about, and never a single praise. I don't know if the residents expect every team to bring home a trophy every single year, or what, but the standards set around here are outrageous. We're supposed to be the NICE people in Minnesota. You act like a bunch of little kids who didn't get the toy they wanted at Target. GROW UP and start APPRECIATING what you have. Dear GOD you have VERB saying grow up...there's got to be something wrong...

But think about things for once.

VIKINGS by THREE touchdowns.

Randy Moss is hilarious. People who think the td celebration was out of line should not be allowed to breed.

Unreal how $%)*@$%)(@ing stupid people are. Joe Buck being the foremost of them. He needs to be punched in the mouth.

I've hated Joe Buck for years, and mention it everytime I see that little bastard. Boy if I could only have him and Subway Jerad in the same room and only two bullets I'd be happy.

Ever since the Twins have been making the playoffs I've noticed how big of a bias jerk he is. Especially towards those Yankees, but in all situations.

Yea, but the key to their losses were that McNabb also wasn't playing. They were resting him for playoffs.

It was a nice but short run. Again, we fall short of the Super Bowl (as was expected from an 8-8 team), but how about this for a consolation prize; we ended the Packers' season last week. At least we got that. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /smile.gif ALT=":)">

Lee

yea, and say the vikings had somehow won theyd have to play the falcons and theres no way they could have beaten the falcons . If they had a shot at being at the superbowl they just wouldnt be the minnesota vikings.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... ns/mad.gif ALT=">:">

We would have beaten the Falcons...we woulda wanted the revenge from 1998. But I agree on the season ending on a positive note. That Packers game was sweet.

McNabb is tough, we'll just have to do a bit better next year. I'd like to whine and cry about the breaks that we didn't catch in that first half, but we caught plenty in the 2nd, or at least enough that we had a chance to score more than we did. Daunte Culpepper is sweet.

Vikes need 3 things....

Post by CitiesSpudsGuy »

The Vikings need 3 things before next season:

1. A new owner -- Sell the damn team, Red!!

2. A new head coach -- Get rid of Joe Rockhead.

3. Trade Moss -- That punk is a cancer and always puts himself ahead of the team.

Ok, they actually need more than that (upgrade that God-awful defense too). Those were the top 3 things they need.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p074.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... pudsGuy at: 1/17/05 5:33 pm
