First I would like to say it was a pleasure meeting both Icypalms and Hockeymom69 last night at Governors. I hope hockeymom69's prediction is wrong about the Johnson vs Eagan score. I hope we can play a competitive game.

Well, my favor would be for Johnson to win (I always like the underdog), but at the last meeting JOHNSONPREZ posted that they lost 7-1. Not a good score, but keep it close and you never know.

Predictions for Rd 1 Wayzata over Chaska (by 3) Stillwater over St. Cloud Black (by 4) Eden Prairie over Mahtomedi (by 5) Eagan over Johnson (by 3) St. Cloud Red over Highland (by 2) Lakeville over Orono (by 5) Blaine over Rochester (by 1) Edina over Roseville (by 4) Not too many close games in the first round IMHO.

SLP Coach, the St. Cloud teams are very tough defensively so I cannot see a 4 goal margin. Good predictions however...here are my picks. Wayzata 3 (EN) Chaska 1 St. Cloud Black 3 Stillwater 2 Eden Prairie 6 Mahtomedi 1 Eagan 4 Johnson 2 St. Cloud Red 3 Highland 1 Lakeville 6 Orono 1 Blaine 5 Rochester 2 Edina 2 Roseville 3 in OT Upset of the regional.

First I would like to say that this was the first time I have been to Johnson Arena since they fixed it up boy they did a good job. I was talking to the Johnson President at the game and he said that the ceiling is suppose to be painted this summer. I hope with these improvement Johnson will continue to function. Great Job Johnson Boosters. About the game we beat Tri-city but now we have to face a Blaine team that has one of the best Pee Wee's on it, We will have to work hard to win this one.

as for the TC District 'Love'.... I am cheering for Highland and Johnson to do well, no doubt about it. Just with the way things matched up, I gotta go with my gut on the predictions, not just my heart.

I seen Johnson's "A" Pee Wee's practice th other night and they have a few big kids. I think Johnson should come out forecheck hard and start knocking Eagan around. Lakeville South did that and beat them.

I think Rochester has a very good chance. They are a very good team. They move the puck really really well, and have solid goaltending. They outshot the #2 team in the state 52-28<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/eek.gif ALT=":eek"> .

Rochester PWA does seem to be doing well. Watching their games over last weekend I was very impressed. Nice to see some good representation from the southern part of the state. Keep up the hard work Roch!

lockerbox3 Just wanted to pick one major upset for the region so this was the game I decided to pick. I have only watched each team one time this season and from what I did see out of one game this game is my upset pick. The upset is a bold prediction indeed to make and there is no disrespect to either organization.

I see Johnson being a good upset. Govies are underated. Quick up front and solid goaltending. Johnsonprez said they didn't have the best one out the last time they met.
