Hottest Team Currently

Just curious as to what teams people think are really hot right now. Will this play carry into the playoffs and lead them to state?

Add a team if not on list.

I don't think this is really a "poll worthy" question. It's not debatable. The hottest team in the state is Dodge County with a 12 game winning streak.

That's it.

Yeah, I know - but am I wrong here? Being that the question is "hottest team", we're pretty much talking winning streak aren't we? Dodge County has the state's longest current winning streak.

If you want to phrase it as "best team" (which hasn't been beaten to death here at all  ), that's one thing, but "hottest team" is most wins in a row.

Geez, not everything needs an exact answer and the ability to be debatable. Its a message board, which people can disuss about certain teams and other aspects of the game. A lot of stuff on here is based on opinion anyway.

I'd think I'd rather run into Dodge County than Moorhead. Its worded right.

Maybe rather than figuring out who the hottest team is, we should just use this thread to debate the definition of "hottest team"!

No, thats not the topic. Can't we ever just stay on task? I'm sure it will lead into "well the only reason the Holy Angels are the hottest team is because they recruit".

I was kidding. A winning streak is a winning streak. Check my other posts, I argue against holding strength of schedule against a kid's accomplishments all of the time.

I'd say Duluth East's 12 game unbeaten streak is pretty hot, especially with the schedule they have.

More so than Holy Angels and their weak conference schedule.

theres nothing aha can do about their conference. and even though you guys keep ripping them, they some how still beat very good teams (centennial, HM 2X, roseville, minnetonka) and they cant not be teh hottest team because they havent lost yet!

Yeah, and despite what you say about their schedule they are #17 on the toughest schedule list.

Although they are only #90, Hermantown probably has toughest schedule that only has two AA teams on it.

Hermantown is on a 22 game unbeaten streak, Holy Angels is only on a 21 game unbeaten streak. 8)

But if you throw in the first mshsl Shattuck win in a long time, they can have it.

Can't go against Moorhead. They are 18-1-1 in one of the toughest schedules if not the toughest schedule in the state of Minnesota.
Teams beaten:
--Roseau(2)
--Jefferson(1...soon to be 2)
--Centennial
--Duluth East
--Grand Rapids
--White Bear Lake
--Eden Prairie
--Wayzata
--Warroad
--Roseville

That is very impressive, but its just regular season after all.
