Should be pretty good but not state tournament material. I beleive Nick Carson left for the USHL so a downfall could be young and inexperienced defense.

Centennial, Champlin, and Maple Grove all have potential to knock off Blaine.

What team is Nick Carson playing for? I don't see him on any of the rosters, are you sure it isn't NAHL or did he get cut from his USHL team?

Nick Carson

I heard Nick Carson did not make the tryout for the USHL team and will more than likely be returning to Blaine for his senior season.

No can do! If he attended school other than Blaine while trying out for his USHL team he will not be allowed back to Blaine this year unless he gets a waiver by the State High School League. I would assume the State High School Leage would be very unlikely to grant this waiver.

Do you have an explaination for that statement? Centennial returns very little firepower to their offense. Only Pitlick had over 40 points that is returning, and they are returning only 2-3 defensemen.

The Bengals should put out a solid first line depending on how they work it. Schaber and Johnson are both solid players and they have some young kids with talent that will now have a chance to step up with all the losses from last years team. Hopefully Carson will be able to play, anyone have an update on his status?

Clearly they won't be what they have been the last two years but I don't see Centennial being a dominant team in the section and Blaine's goaltending should be solid with Hollerud now having more experience and I think they are going to give the sophomore Harper some playing time. I see it coming down to a Bengal/Cougar showdown for a state birth and it would be a great game as the two have always had a nice rivalry.
Some would call 4 in a row a dynasty
