I think it'll be a long year for the Blue-Devils.

Agreed. They have some young talent coming up but I don't think they'll recover so quickly from last seasons losses.

Wow, Why does VMIB get such a bad rap when there are two players currently in the NHL born in Virginia and 2 in juniors with great potential.
And let's not forget the Carlson brothers aka the Hansons they grew up in Virginia and played for the Devils. What about Bah Harrington member of the 1980 Olympic team? Sacchetti, Niskanen and Kishel will inspire the youngsters. Go ahead mock the newby.

Good point, mainefan. And not to mention they were in the state tournament in 2005 and have been in the section finals or semifinals 15 out of the last 18 years.

Admittably, this probably isn't going to be a banner year for Virginia unless a handful of youngsters step up a couple of notches - especially at the goaltending position. They aren't going to have the offense they've had for the last 3 or 4 years, so they will need to keep the puck out of their own net to have a chance.
