I hope Johnson's better than last year. I also see that Joe Rubbelke is now listed as a forward. I thought he was a defenseman last year.
The roster I saw has him still at D. He'll step into plays more often than not even if he is on the line though. They're not going to be able to play a defensive game and win too often - they're going to play high scoring games to compete - the goaltending isn't good enough. Joe is going to have to be a big part of that.

I guess it depends whose roster you go by.
Is it true that he's actually attending school at North St. Paul right now - meaning that he'll be playing for North next year?

I believe so... I'm really confused by his status. Goes to NSP, plays football for Harding, and because of the consolidation, plays hockey for Johnson.
That's part of the new transfer rule. If you transfer without a change in residence you are ineligible for one year at your new school, but you can play at your old school.

I just wonder how Rubbelke selected North St. Paul. Obviously there are schools with better athletic programs.
