Well, fans shouldn't be completely classless....which is one thing that I think he was trying to keep the fans from being. But, to limit where ALL fans can sit because of what the Apollo students say is ridiculous.Puckerup wrote:..or what I can or can't say.

I've put my money on it. I think I'll regret it, but...whatever.Blue&Gold wrote:I'm rooting for CHS, but I'm not sure they can hold-up under the pressure. If Poganski can stay in the game instead of giving up 5 powerplays, and whoever is in net doesn't panic, then CHS should win. However, I wouldn't put any money on it.

For my sake, I hope you end up regreting it.

After two games, Butkowski had 7 penalties in just about 3 periods...Nothing has changed from last year. Some penalties he takes because he plays the game hard...but if you watch him behind the play, he does some really dumb stuff to get penalties.CHICKA CHICKA WHAT wrote:I BELIEVE POGANSKI WILL LOSE IT AND COST THEIR TEAM IN PENALTIES...BUT FOR THE GOALIE... IF THEY BUCKLE UNDER PRESSURE APOLLO HAS A CHANCE TO WIN. ALSO ANOTHER FACTOR IS BRENT BUTKOWSKI. IF HE CAN STAY OUT OF THE BOX OR NOT

The more and more I read what you say, the more and more I feel you are a kid from Apollo just trying to get some thing up on the bulletin board so the Eagles will get a little more fired up.CarGuy wrote:cathedral will win....5 to 2......mayeb they should make a class "B" for apollo to join haha....since their enrollment is so down....but i am pretty sure enrollment isnt the prob, its the talent they dont have thats the problem!
Cathedral doesn't view Apollo as a pushover. They will be the best team they've faced to this point.

blanda....i didnt go to apollo...4 year letter winner in hockey at chs....i know apollo's program well and i dont respect what has happened to it and st. cloud hockey that past few years...you can thank st. cloud youth hockey program for that and thatis another story in it itself. the same reason st. cloud has slid in hockey is the same reason sartell will NEVER have a good program...any guess what it is?

They werent man handled until after the 2nd goal then apollo kind of lost it, but where was brent tonight.George Blanda wrote:Apollo was manhandled but was without their top two defensemen.
Didn't really matter, the score could have been worse with Butkowski in the lineup as penalties would have killed.
Final shots were 51-13.

I don't know. I was only there in the 3rd period. But I'll read you a text message from a friend of mine after I asked how Cathedral was playing, "You're down one to zero. Cathedral controlled the entire first period. By controlled i mean dominated."
That's straight from a buddy of mine who attended Apollo.

Its his opinion but i will say cathedral has a heck of a team, they got to keep up the good work. And from what i heard about pognanski and his penalties he didnt have a single one tonight that i remember, and for the rest of the team they didn't have many penalties at all but when they did they shut down apollo power play which was frustrating being an apollo fan. well doneGeorge Blanda wrote:I don't know. Wasn't able to make the game tonight but sounded like it was exciting... Was having Sam Lommel back in the line up a nice addition for SCC? I noticed he picked up three penalties all for roughing... Is he playing too physical or were they stupid penalties? Congrats to the Crusaders on the W over a cross town rival...

Okay game, fairly sloppy, though -- a LOT of missed passes and scrums of clacking sticks. CHS had some nice plays at times. Apollo struggled to get it in the zone past the CHS defense, the best part of their team. Nicest goal was the 2-1 from Rindelaub to Quist at the beginning of the third. There were some chippy penalties taken, but it always happens in crosstown matchups. Kudos to Apollo. I think they are on the right track. But they just don't have a lot in numbers coming to build on.
He had to serve a game misconduct for the five penalties he took in a previous game even though no game misconduct was issued.Dirty Dangler wrote:They werent man handled until after the 2nd goal then apollo kind of lost it, but where was brent tonight.George Blanda wrote:Apollo was manhandled but was without their top two defensemen.
