Duluth Area games weekend after Christmas?

Post by MNRinkRat »

Anyone know of any good games in the Duluth area going on the Friday, Saturday, or Sunday after Christmas? Any help would be great. Thanks

Well, let's see; East is down in the Twin Cities at the Schwan Cup, Denfeld is down at the Kiwanis Tournament, Marshall is playing in their own Hilltopper Classic from Wed. 12/26 to Fri. 12/28. Central isn't playing, Hermantown is out at the mini-Ralph in Thief River Falls, Proctor is at home on Thursday and Friday in their own tournament (scheduled to play Ashland on Thursday)

Not much compelling action in the Duluth area.

Up on the Range, Eveleth is hosting their own tournament Wednesday through Friday at the Hippodrome, Hibbing and Greenway are in the Hibbing Invitational.

The game I'd go see would be Lakeville North at Grand Rapids on Saturday afternoon.

What about the Silver Bay 6 team tourney! Not the best teams but it should be competitive Thursday-Saturday December 27th-29th at the World Famous Rukavina Arena.

Ok, not world famous.

Thanks, greatly appreciated. I kinda figured a lot of teams were out of town for tourneys.
