Easton Stealth S15 vs. Synergy SE16
Which is the better skate? Which are higher rated? Lighter? More durable?
I have owned a pair of S15 skates for about a year now. I loved the skates (they are very light and comfortable) but they are seem to fall apart quickly. They are so thrashed right now they are to the point where they are almost un-useable (I have used them just for ice hockey like normal). I need to buy new skates and was looking at the synergy model instead of the stealth S15's.
What are your thoughts? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

Vapors......... dump those things, they are comfortable, but don't last.
Same old story with easton skates. |

Which vapors do most people like?
I have heard from many that they dont like the new vapor XXXX's
I have never really been a big vapor fan, i like the skates, but i dont like the fit compared to other skates. I have a very wide foot, maybe that has something to do with it?
Thanks for the input |

| Try some CCM's. Supposedly they fit a wide foot better. |

My opinion as well would be to go with the Vapor XXXX's because they are excellent skates and I've also seen several Easton skates tear apart on the sides and bottom.
But, if I were to choose I would have to say Stealth S15 |

| Ive heard good and bad things about the CCM U's. Ive heard they can be horrible during the break in proccess but then once once you are past that they are great skates. Im not positive about the Tacks, but im pretty sure they do not make them anymore. You might still be able to pick up an old model of them somewhere though. |

If it was 6 years ago, I would agree to avoid Mission skates; however, the Mission Fuels and the NME series are a lot better than the Flyweights. The Flyweights ALWAYS had an issue with their holders and runners (weak material). Years later, they have invested more into their production costs and it shows.
