Thanks for the info.....Stillwater is first class - listened to a bit of the internet stream of the Stillwater - NSP game and today in the car caught a bit of the Pony Show and the Stillwater vs. Cloquet game. With the Stillwater Gazette Coverage Monday-Friday and the Mighty 1220 KLBB, link to the website stream:
http://www.mighty1220.com/STILLWATERHOCKEY4623.php

The Pony Show was 9-10 AM with Coach Schied and three players Dahl, Hawkins and Sobczek - very well done. At least in the metro area I know no equal to community support at the games, on the radio and in print - ALL VERY COOL!

Girls hockey games coverage

Post by iwatchalotofhockey »

To those who may be wondering about additional girls hockey games and who will be covering them this year.

MSBN "The Minnesota Sports Broadcast Network" will be carrying a number of girls games this year. It was our intention to have this weekends games up north back home with the Roseau and Warroad girls games against HolyAngels and Minnetonka but due to logistics did not work out.

Look for game schedule after the Prep Bowl for football. It is our intention to have over 100+ games broadcast tentatively for the season starting in early December with a mix of girls games to be part of the schedule.

It is a pretty high chance that Roseau versus Edina or Hill Murray games wil be the start in early December. Check out the site after this upcoming weekends' Prep Bowl for football for an indication of starting point of games.

Also MSBN also is working out a deal to broadcast at least (2) girls youth state tournaments in March of 2009. Keep you posted as details get ironed out as it nears.

And as always we appreciate your listening to the broadcasts. Remember to check out the site as football winds down next week.

Will it be a sweep or will the Rams come out victorious in the most important game of the year between these top ranked teams. Listen to this game live and find out on the Minnesota Sports Broadcast Network!

SECTION 4AA GIRLS FINAL: #3 STILLWATER vs. #1 ROSEVILLE

Section 4AA Girls Hockey Final: #3 Stillwater vs. #1 Roseville

In what is arguably the hottest rivalry in the state of Minnesota in girls hockey, the #1 seeded Roseville Raiders (25-1-1) will take on the #3 seeded Stillwater Ponies (23-4-0) for the right to go to the 2009 Minnesota State Girls Hockey Tournament.

These two Suburban East conference foes faced each other twice this season, with Roseville winning both games in one-goal fashion, 3-2 in overtime at Stillwater, and 2-1 at Roseville.
