Ok, so im confused. On the right side of the MHL bracket, it says that the two teams from D8 are given seeds 3 and 5 in the state tourney. This is nothing new as it was like this last season. But on the MHL playdown bracket, there are two state spots that say "to state as M3" and "to state as M5". Therefore, it doesn't give seeds 7 and 8 to anyone. So does anyone know how they are really seeded? I know D8 will probably have seeds 3 and 5 ,like usual, but then how should the JGB playdowns bracket be corrected to seed the 6 MHL teams the correct way?

They changed it sometime this morning online, but it is still messed up. On the side, it says M3 and M5 are both from District 8, but on the bracket, it says that Wayzata Gold is M3 and Roseville is M5. We (Minnetonka) used to be M4 but ours got switched to M6. Hopefully they will fix it soon.Mr. Fruity wrote:Ok, so im confused. On the right side of the MHL bracket, it says that the two teams from D8 are given seeds 3 and 5 in the state tourney. So far, it's looking like a pretty good tournament:
Wayzata Gold (1)
Woodbury (2)
Edina Green (3)
Edina White (4)
Minnetonka (6)
Roseville (9)
North St. Paul (not in top 10)
Winner of Hastings (5) vs. Rave (7)
JGB
Congrats to JGB White Division! 4 teams advance to State:
#1 White - Edina White (seed = M2)
#2 White - Wayzata Gold (seed = M3)
#3 White - Edina Green (seed = M8)
#4 White - Tonka (seed = M6)
The JGB Blue division was a total bust at regions going a dismal 2-9, with 1 of the 2 wins against another blue division team. OUCH!!!!

Yeah, Elk River Black was the #1 seed in the blue division and lost their first two games. yikessblueblood wrote:Congrats to JGB White Division! 4 teams advance to State:

Re: ER
They were making comments to our bench about slitting our throats after the game...not how hockey should be played.blueblood wrote:Sad to say bb grew up playng for ER. Why have they turned into a bunch of white trash thugs?
It wasn't that way when I played....
